Billion Watts Technologies, the leading provider of PV string meter and energy management solution in Asia Pacific, collaborates with EvertexFabrinology Limited to build a 1.5MW rooftop PV power station on the Evertextextile factory at Nanka Taoyuan, Taiwan with SolarEdge DC optimized inverter solution, and Billion Watts string-level monitoring system. Meanwhile, Billion Watts and SolarEdge helda technical seminar on June 28, exploring the technical advantages and economic profit of the PV module-level monitoring.
Collaborating with
Billion Watts, Evertexbuilt the largest individual PV power station in Northern Taiwan. The 1.5MW site will include two solutions, a 1,260kW system utilizing SolarEdge DC optimized inverters and a 240kW system utilizing Billion Watts 's string-level solar PV monitoring system. The entire system will enjoy
with 20 years professional O&M service provided by Billion Watts.
BillionWatts also announces a Taiwanese distribution agreement with SolarEdge, a global leader in inverters, PV system optimization, and smart energy management solutions, and plans to accomplish 10MW PV installed capacity in 2017.
Consisting of inverters, power optimizers, storage solutions, and a cloud-based monitoring platform, the SolarEdge system enables superior power harvesting and module management by deploying power optimizers to the module-level while maintaining a competitive system cost by keeping the AC inversion and grid interaction centralized at the simplified inverter. SolarEdge technology increases power production through module-level maximum power point tracking (MPPT), enables optimal roof utilization through design flexibility, decreased BoS costs with longer strings, superior safety with DC level shutdown, and improved O&M with module-level monitoring and remote troubleshooting.
Incorporating with 2/4/8/12/16 DC string meters, AC meters, smart IoT gateway, and a cloud computing system, Pixel View grasps in-depth insights of the PV system at string level with instant data tracking capability. Compatible with all brands of inverters and solar modules, Pixel View can identify the location of the underperforming solar strings and deliver automatic alert for failure detection, description, and status tracking. Through Pixel View high-precision web-based management, the site manager can virtually access high-resolution power generation data in real-time, which can minimize the cost of operation & maintenance personnel, improve the fault resolving efficiency and the site performance, and to further maximize power harvesting at all times.
'Echoing the green policy and corporate social responsibility of environmental sustainability, we work with Billion Watts and SolarEdge to develop solar energy project. Hoping for the 20 years cooperation, we can reduce environmental burden through renewable energy and upgrade the industry to create a win-win situation.' Said, Tony Yeh, the CEO of
EvertexFabrinology Limited.
