They’ve vowed to do their best to co-parent their baby boy when he arrives in November, despite no longer being a couple.

But Nathan Massey has fuelled speculation that he and his Love Island ex Cara De La Hoyde have decided to give their romance another shot by uploading a super sweet photo to Instagram.

Pictured with his arm around his ex as she cradles her growing bump, Nathan, 25, captioned the snap, “I'm loving the idea of having a baby, and becoming a father… my new fave pic of us.”

And fans immediately started speculating whether the show of togetherness signals a proper reunion.

“Are you back together now? So happy for your both,” wrote one follower, while a second commented, “Are they back together? So confused.”

“Did I miss something??” wrote another, and a fourth added, “Hope you pair have worked things out."

Mirror online has contacted reps of the pair for comment.

Since announcing the pregnancy, the former couple have been putting on a united front despite recently splitting up.

And after going together for the 20-week scan earlier this month, they found out they're having a 'mini Nathan '.

He took to Twitter to spread the news, writing: "God help the world, there will be another "naughty Nathan" walking our streets! It's a boy"

And Cara - who discovered she was pregnant during a smear test just weeks before splitting from Nathan - was equally chuffed.

Cara told OK! magazine: "I'm not very girlie so I'd rather have a little boy who'll get all muddy than a little princess. I'm a bit more rough and ready. Now we know the sex, it's so much more real."

However, it remains to be seen whether they'll manage to agree on a name!

Nathan revealed he's keen on Archie, but Cara reckons monikers like Archie and Alfie have "been done so much".

She added: "We're not naming him after a food or a place, he's going to have a strong name. And with clothes I like the traditional look, like how Sam Faiers dresses baby Paul.

"I'm on a WhatsApp group with all the Love Island girls and they want to buy stuff for the baby. I said, 'Girls I'm not being a diva but I don't want modern stuff. No jeans, trainers or tracksuits.'"

Cara and Nathan were the winning couple on last year's Love Island.

After after coming home with the £50,000 prize money, they enjoyed a whirlwind romance.

But they announced their split in April, with Cara announcing she was expecting their first child just one month later.

Cara admitted in June that she'd love to get back with Nathan.

She told This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that can see herself getting back together with her former partner - and even having more babies with him.

Asked about the advice she'd give the new Love Island cast mates, Cara said: "Looking back on it now, my advice is don't rush things, because you think you know each other so well.

"[Me and Nathan] jumped in head-first, lived together - we still have so much love for each other but everything happens so quickly and I think it ruins it."

Asked by Holly whether there was any hope for their relationship, Cara replied: "You can try things for the sake of the baby, there's nothing to say in the future [it might happen] but just at the moment we don't need that stress.

"Of course, it would be lovely to have a little family and look back and show the kids where we met," she went on.

"It's important for them to know their mum and dad did love each other and that they were made in love."
