Snam, represented by General Counsel Marco Reggiani, intervened yesterday at the BIF - Business Integrity Forum promoted by Transparency International Italy with the aim of improving transparency, integrity and responsibility in the private sector.

Snam, together with other Italian listed companies, is one of the promoters of the project launched in 2015 and is committed to sharing its best practices in terms of transparency, legality and fight against corruption. In this regard, the General Counsel underlined the importance for companies to establish synergies with their supply chain through instruments such as the Ethics and Integrity Pact and reputational audits.

The SME Integrity Kit is among the initiatives of the BIF joined by Snam as a business partner. The kit, presented yesterday, offers small and medium sized enterprises a Charter of Ethical Principles, guidelines for structuring a whistleblowing system and an Integrity Pact to adhere when participating in public tenders. Snam has offered SME that are part of its supply chain the opportunity to adopt the kit made available by the BIF.

As well as managers of the companies, the event was joined by representatives of institutions and organizations such as the UN Global Compact Italy Foundation and CSR Manager Network.
