GM Holden is pleased to announce the following appointments to its Communications team.

Anna Betts has been appointed to the role of Director - Communications, effective 22 December.

Since joining Holden in early 2016, Anna has held the role of Senior Manager - Internal Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility, managing all internal communications and community support activities at Holden and playing a pivotal role in the internal and external communications of Holden's end of local manufacturing activities. In her new role, Anna will have responsibility for all internal and external communications at Holden.

Anna brings more than 12 years of corporate communications experience to the role, with a passion for creating engaging communications and experiences. Prior to joining Holden, Anna worked at Melbourne Water and has also held positions at Australian Red Cross, the British Heart Foundation and Thrive PR and Communications.

Anna takes over the role from Sean Poppitt, who has been appointed Senior Manager Communications - GM South East Asia after more than six years with Holden. Sean will be based in Bangkok and takes over the role from January 2018.

Mark Flintoft has been promoted to the role of Senior Manager - Product and Brand Communications, effective 20 November 2017.

Since joining Holden from Jaguar Land Rover in the UK, Mark has held the role of Product Communications Manager at GM Holden, leading all product communications in addition to lifestyle and brand communications.

Mark's new role will continue to focus on product communications as Holden enters its next exciting chapter, launching the strongest product range ever adding Equinox, next-generation Commodore and Acadia to an already impressive showroom.

Megan Lloyd has been promoted to the new role of Senior Manager - Corporate and Brand Communications, effective 20 November, 2017; managing media relations and external communications for non-product programs and activities across Holden.

Megan joined Holden in mid-2015, in the role of Corporate Affairs Manager SA/WA, managing all internal and external communications for Holden's manufacturing operations in Adelaide, playing an integral role in managing the end of production in October 2017. Prior to joining Holden, Megan was a journalist with News Corporation for more than 20 years where she held senior positions including Editor - Sunday Mail and Editor-in-Chief - Messenger Community Newspapers. Megan has also held positions in corporate communications across defence, manufacturing, local government and the not-for-profit sectors.

The Holden Communications Team looks forward to working with you in 2018.
