Christmas cheer in Sipitang

SIPITANG: The Petronas Foundation fuelled Christmas celebrations in Sipitang by distributing festive packs and basic necessities through the Sentuhan Kasih programme held at Muhibah Village Hall, recently.The event involved communities from Muhibah and Sapuk villages. Yayasan Petronas representative, Ajmal Japeli, said 200 food baskets, of which 100 were donated by Yayasan Petronas and Petronas Chemical Fertiliser Sabah Sdn Bhd, were distributed.

“They were distributed to villagers in the B40 category who celebrate Christmas,” he said. The programme is a continuation of Petronas’ tradition in reaching out to the community during the festive season and also a Malaysian corporate social responsibility.
