Anything labelled game changer ends up being a spectacular failure. I'm sure Reko Diq will be the same, a total failure. Maybe not as spectacular a failure as CPEC because of the absence of phony iron brother china, who has a global reputation of corrupting everything for their own benefit.

Indeed similar to how gas from Sui was a game changer for Balochistan. They’ll get their kick backs and commissions that’s the actual game changer. This will probably take a similar shape to oil production in Nigeria and the severe exploitation of shell there in harms with the army and politicians. “Divided we beg, United we negotiate.” Butt who are we kidding, this will be well worse than Nigeria.

@Tulukan Mairandi, you can’t blame China to want to work towards the interests of China, that’s how every country does things except a few (including Pakistan) that work towards the benefit of their white overlords, Why Pakistanis feel the world owes them something is well beyond my understanding, they’re not charities.

@Hilarious, China does indeed owe Pakistan a great deal for remaining silent on Uyghur genocide, being a loan customer and huge interest rates despite our islamic credentials, staying away from US-led democracy forums, and even banning screening of Winnie the Pooh.

Oh no. Riko Diq would have worked until it was named a game changer. Everyone used the word game changer for CPEC five years ago. Now CPEC is just a big project riddled with debts, and no revenues to repay the original debts.

The Neelum–Jhelum Hydropower Plant was also a game changer costing $ 5.1B. This Project is permanently closed since july 2022 due to poor construction. Anyone talking about the intererst, the country is paying against this Chinese loan ?

In 1993 agreement is signed, and by 2011 feasibility is complete and mining can progress, in 2013 SCP terms agreement was illegal, and the rest of the history is lost in legal translation by usual suspects who got scot-free, and incurred losses to the country. It sure is a game-changer.
