Zinedine Zidane is feeling the heat at Real Madrid

Spanish media outlet Don Balon say the Italian thinks he could get the nod from club chiefs.

Ancelotti has previously spent two years managing the heavyweights but left in 2015.

And, if Don Balon are to be believed, he might make a sensational move back to Spain.

Zidane is feeling the heat at the Bernabeu.

Real could only manage a 0-0 draw with Atletico Madrid yesterday.

Chances were few and far between in the crunch clash between the city rivals.

Angel Correa, Toni Kroos and Kevin Gameiro all had opportunities but couldn’t break the deadlock.

Antoine Griezmann extended his goalless run for Atletico to eight games and Cristiano Ronaldo continued his worst start to a La Liga season ever.

The result leave Real 10 points adrift of Barcelona at the top of the table.

Speaking after the clash, Zidane insisted his side are still in the hunt.

He said: "It's not insurmountable.

“I’m sure Barca are going to drop points.

“We have to continue doing our work and that's all.

"When you see that it's 10 points, it's a lot of points, but it's going to change. I'm sure we will cut the gap.

"Barca are not going to pick up points all the time and we have to be up there."
